Southern Comfort Cake
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 & 1/2 packs instant vanilla pudding
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup Southern Comfort
Glaze
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/8 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup Southern Comfort
Steps
- Mix cake ingredients in the order given.
- Pour into a greased bundt pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the glaze, bring butter, water, and sugar to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes and then add Southern Comfort.
- Invert the cake onto a plate and prick the top with a fork all over.
- Pour half of the glaze over the cake, let cool and then pour the remaining glaze, allowing it to drizzle down the sides.
