Ricotta Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 Yellow cake mix, follow box directions
  • 2 lb container of Sorrento ricotta
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1 12 oz tub cool whip

Steps

  1. Mix and set aside the yellow cake mix according to the box directions.
  2. Mix together the container of Sorrento ricotta and eggs.
  3. Pour cake mixture into the bottom of a 9 X 13 baking dish.
  4. Spoon cheese mixture on top.
  5. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Let the cake cool.
  6. Top with 1 can Cherry Pie Filling and 12 oz tub of cool whip.
