Potato Casserole (Pittsburgh Potatoes)

Ingredients

  • 1 large diced onion
  • 2 Tbs. Butter
  • 1 (2 lb.) bag hash brown potatoes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 ½ cup shredded cheese

Steps

  1. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 min.
  2. Brown 1 large diced onion in 2 Tbs. Butter.
  3. Add 1 (2 lb.) bag hash brown potatoes.
  4. In a large bowl mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 (16 oz.) sour cream, and 2 eggs beaten.
  5. Add to potato mixture add 2 ½ cup shredded cheese and mix well.
  6. Place in 9 X 13 pan sprayed with Pam. Sprinkle top with seasoned bread crumbs.
  7. Bake uncovered in preheated oven.
