Potato Casserole (Pittsburgh Potatoes)
Ingredients
- 1 large diced onion
- 2 Tbs. Butter
- 1 (2 lb.) bag hash brown potatoes
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (16 oz.) sour cream
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 ½ cup shredded cheese
Steps
- Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 min.
- Brown 1 large diced onion in 2 Tbs. Butter.
- Add 1 (2 lb.) bag hash brown potatoes.
- In a large bowl mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 (16 oz.) sour cream, and 2 eggs beaten.
- Add to potato mixture add 2 ½ cup shredded cheese and mix well.
- Place in 9 X 13 pan sprayed with Pam. Sprinkle top with seasoned bread crumbs.
- Bake uncovered in preheated oven.
