Pineapple Upside Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, beaten till foamy
  • 2 cup sugar
  • ½ tea salt
  • 2 tea vanilla
  • 2 Tbl butter, melted
  • 1 cup boiling milk
  • 2 cup flour, sifted
  • 2 tea baking powder

Steps

  1. Beat the eggs until foamy.
  2. Gradually add sugar, salt, and vanilla.
  3. Melt the butter into boiling milk and beat until smooth.
  4. Sift flour and baking powder together, then fold into the egg mixture.
  5. In the bottom of a 9 X 13-inch pan, melt 1 stick of butter and add about ½ cup brown sugar to make a sauce.
  6. Arrange sliced pineapples and cherries in the bottom of the pan; pour batter on top of pineapples.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes. Turn out the cake immediately after baking.
