Pineapple Upside Cake
Ingredients
- 4 eggs, beaten till foamy
- 2 cup sugar
- ½ tea salt
- 2 tea vanilla
- 2 Tbl butter, melted
- 1 cup boiling milk
- 2 cup flour, sifted
- 2 tea baking powder
Steps
- Beat the eggs until foamy.
- Gradually add sugar, salt, and vanilla.
- Melt the butter into boiling milk and beat until smooth.
- Sift flour and baking powder together, then fold into the egg mixture.
- In the bottom of a 9 X 13-inch pan, melt 1 stick of butter and add about ½ cup brown sugar to make a sauce.
- Arrange sliced pineapples and cherries in the bottom of the pan; pour batter on top of pineapples.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes. Turn out the cake immediately after baking.
