Hot Pretzels
Ingredients
- 1 pk dry yeast
- 1/8 cup warm water
- 1 1/3 cup warm water
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 5 cup flour
Steps
- Dissolve yeast in 1/8 cup water.
- Stir in remaining water, add brown sugar, add flour mix until smooth.
- Place in lightly greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, let rise.
- Preheat oven to 475, put a large pot of water on to boil.
- Turn out dough to a lightly floured surface.
- Cut small sections of dough, roll into ropes then form into pretzels.
- Place in boiling water, when they puff up turn over for a few seconds.
- Place on cookie sheet sprinkle with coarse salt bake till golden brown.
