Cream Puffs
Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup boiling water
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ tea salt
- 2 eggs (unbeaten)
Steps
- Add butter to boiling water, let melt, then add flour and salt, stirring vigorously.
- Cook until the mixture pulls away from the side of the pot.
- Remove from heat and let cool for 1 minute.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well until smooth.
- Pipe into mounds on greased sheets.
- Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes, then at 400°F for 25 minutes. Let cool and fill as desired.
