Cream Puffs

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • ½ cup flour
  • ¼ tea salt
  • 2 eggs (unbeaten)

Steps

  1. Add butter to boiling water, let melt, then add flour and salt, stirring vigorously.
  2. Cook until the mixture pulls away from the side of the pot.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool for 1 minute.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well until smooth.
  5. Pipe into mounds on greased sheets.
  6. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes, then at 400°F for 25 minutes. Let cool and fill as desired.
