Ingredients

Step 1

  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup crushed nuts

Step 2

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cool whip

Step 3

  • 1 large box instant chocolate pudding, mixed with 3 cups whole milk

Step 4

  • Cool whip (amount not specified)
  • Finely chopped nuts (amount not specified)

Steps

  1. For Step 1: Mix butter, flour, and nuts and press into a 9 X 13-inch bake pan. Bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes until light brown, then cool completely.
  2. For Step 2: Mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cool whip. Spread over the cooled first layer and refrigerate.
  3. For Step 3: Spread the chocolate pudding mix over the second layer and refrigerate until set.
  4. For Step 4: Spread a thin layer of cool whip on top and sprinkle with finely chopped nuts. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
